During November and December 2024, WFWP Togo successfully conducted awareness and Character Education programs in schools and communities of Lomé Djahblé and Notsé, Togo.

A total of 210 students participated in these impactful sessions of Character Educati. The program focused on three key areas:

1. Absolute Sex Education: Educating students on the importance of maintaining purity and making responsible choices regarding sexual behavior to safeguard their future well-being.

2. Universal Values: Instilling universal moral and ethical values such as honesty, respect, responsibility, and empathy to foster character development and responsible citizenship.

3. Positive Attitudes for Success: Motivating students to adopt disciplined study habits, goal-setting, and resilience to achieve academic and life success. These interactive sessions aimed to equip students with essential knowledge and values to guide them through adolescence and prepare them for responsible adulthood.

In addition to the student sessions, WFWP Togo engaged 20 women in informative discussions highlighting their vital roles as wives and mothers. The sessions focused on: Role of Women in Family and Society: Emphasizing the importance of nurturing, guiding, and supporting family members for a harmonious household.

Mother's Heart Peace Network: Educating participants on the objectives and benefits of joining the Mother's Heart Peace Network, which promotes peacebuilding and support among women. This initiative aimed to empower women to become proactive contributors to peace and stability within their families and communities.

Furthermore, 20 community members received specialized training on family values and their significant impact on community development.

The awareness and training programs conducted by WFWP Togo in Lomé Djahblé and Notsé successfully engaged diverse groups in meaningful discussions on personal development, family values, and community involvement.
