From June 23 to 28, the Women's Federation for World Peace South Africa, in collaboration with Youth and Students for Peace (YSP) and the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) Cape Town, hosted a 7-day Youth Leadership Training in Wynberg, Cape Town. This workshop aimed to instill and promote the values taught and modelled by WFWP Founders: true love, purity, cooperation, and responsibility.
There were 21 participants and 5 youth staff members, and the comprehensive program was designed to develop their leadership potential. Recognizing the importance of nurturing young leaders, the Youth Leadership Workshop served as a platform for personal growth and community engagement. Participants engaged in a variety of activities, including DP lectures, and character education sessions, team-building exercises, community service projects, as well as Vigil prayer.
One of the workshop's highlights was the Pure Love Pledge, a commitment to uphold values of purity and integrity in their personal lives. This pledge underscored the importance of maintaining strong moral principles as a foundation for effective leadership.
In summary, the 7-Day Youth Leadership Workshop offered a transformative experience that equipped the youth with the skills, knowledge, and confidence in their lives. Moreover, with the theme "Rise Together," the workshop sought to foster collaboration among themselves to work together towards realizing a peaceful and sustainable future.
