Implementation of "Girl Child Empowerment Project

As part of the girl child empowerment project supported by the WFWPI, the WFWP Burkina Faso chapter held a training conference at the Bogodogo high school in Ouagadougou on Wednesday, May 10th at 12:30 PM in the presence of 170 participants. This time the boys also took part.

First of all, Mrs. SOU Jacqueline developed character education as a theme based on siblings’ love, which is the basis of the brother-sister relationship. "If we go through this period in good conditions, we can have victory in the field of conjugal love and find a good family, a family of true love," she said in her message. She also spoke of the relationship between the subject and object partner; always within the family. Then it was the turn of Mrs. Kabore Aimée with her theme of “Absolute sex”."In the practice of sibling love, you cannot talk about sex. One prepares to enter into conjugal love; so, at school, there should be no sex-related relationships during brotherly love, and continue to love each other as brother and sister. If the children have any problems, they should express their hearts to the parents to have a good solution. " This is in short, the message developed by Ms. Kabore. Finally, Miss Kabore Kwang hee Divine, the last speaker developed on the theme "my future in my hands". She made participants understand that “we come to school with a purpose. We must do our best to emerge victorious. Nobody can do anything for me, not even the parents. You have to have a clear goal in mind, that's why I have to work and be disciplined wherever I am. Having happiness depends on me. I have to sacrifice my desires; avoid wasting life within your means.”We had the presence of the Principal Mr. OUEDRAOGO Madi; Mrs. DIABRE Maïmouna the Supervisor and the President of the Pupils’ Parents Association Mr. DIALLO Ibrahim. The students appreciated and wished to continue this education program.
