Empowering Future Leaders: 7-Day Youth Leadership Workshop Report

On December 2–8, 2024, Forest Town, Johannesburg, the Women's Federation for World Peace South Africa successfully hosted a 7-Day Youth Leadership Workshop. Centered around the theme: Empowering Future Leaders, the workshop aimed to inspire and equip young individuals with the values, skills, and experiences necessary to become proactive and compassionate leaders in their communities and beyond. 

The workshop offered a balanced combination of Character Education lectures, medittion sessions, practical activities, and  recreational events designed to nurture leadership potential and personal growth.

Throughout the week the 12 participants demonstrated significant growth in confidence, and teamwork. The program successfully instilled a sense of responsibility and vision among the youth, motivating them to contribute positively to their families, communities, and society. 

 The success of the Youth Leadership Workshop would not have been possible without the unwavering support of blessed families and dedicated volunteers. Their generosity and encouragement were instrumental in creating a nurturing environment where future leaders could thrive. 

As we reflect on this successful event, we remain committed to empowering young people and fostering a culture of peace and leadership across Africa. We look forward to organizing more impactful programs in the future.
