32nd Anniversary of WFWP /End of Year Event

WFWP Kenya held the 32nd anniversary of WFWP on the 21st December in Nairobi, Kenya , this was to mark the founding and inauguration of WFWP and also to end the year 2024 with all the volunteers, members and partners. The Theme was “ Women as the turning point of history” and the goal was to outreach women from other organizations, network and create synergy and expand the foundation of WFWP according to the spirit and the vision of the founders of WFWP.
The guests were taken through the introduction of the WFWP followed by a video on the activities of the volunteers on the chapter and global level. The guests included Global Women Peace Ambassadors, NGO leaders, women leaders from Faith based Organizations, community based organizations and institutions which advocate for human and women rights and Peace Movements.
The guests were inspired to watch the introduction video of the WFWPI activities from all over the world and they appreciated the numerous humanitarian, Educational and empowerment projects initiated by the WFWP Japan and all the active chapters.
7 of the esteemed women leaders from various backgrounds who have achieved exceptional results in their work in peace building and other fields were presented with the Global Women Peace Ambassador Award and the Global Partners Award. The atmosphere was charged with excitement during these appointments and all the appointees gave words of gratitude to WFWPI for the recognition of their works in various fields. They were grateful to the Mother of Peace for having such a great vision of uplifting women and giving them a new orientation in their lives and those of their families. New members were also welcomed in the organization by being issued with certificates. They all promised to work with the Mother of Peace to build a peaceful world and they all so felt appreciated and inspired.
